Santuario Farm History began 24 years ago, when Camilo Merizalde had the vision to creat a very unique farm, capable of producing the best Specialty Coffees from Colombia. During the first 10 years, Santuario Farm was able to produce outstanding Specialty Coffees for the international market. After 2012 Santuario became international (Santuario Project) with the creation of Tres Milagros Farm in Costa Rica(2013), Santuario Sul in Brazil(2014). By the end of 2017 Santuario was stablished in Mexico with the creation of the Ixhuatlan Innovation Center in Veracruz (Ixhuatlan del Cafe), and the partnership with Guadalupe Zaju Fam in Chiapas. By 2020 Santuario Project began a joint-venture with Gesha Village (Ethiopia) to process coffees using Santuario techniques. Â Our newest origin added to Santuario project is El Salvador, we are currently organizing final details to offer this origin by mid 2024. Today Santuario has 6 origins with numerous varietals and processes, we are the only company, directly working on our own farms, processing, supervising the quality, and personally marketing our own Specialty-Coffees.
